PARC GAUDÍ · BARCELONA
Accessibility and arrival
Choose the entrance first
Accessibility depends on both the entrance and your route inside. The official website recommends Carretera del Carmel for mobility needs. Enter the actual access address in the TMB journey planner and compare options from your accommodation. A short route may include slopes or steps; do not choose solely by the minutes displayed on a map.
Metro and the final walk
Check the remaining walking route and access conditions before setting off. Do not assume every nearby escalator is working. For someone who walks slowly, a route with less climbing may be preferable even if it is longer. Compare taxis and public transport according to the arrival point and your group’s needs, as well as cost.
Moving around the park
There are gradients, uneven paths and stairs. Consult the official accessibility information and app to select appropriate areas. If you bring a pushchair, plan alternatives to stepped sections. Agree on resting places and a meeting point before splitting up. This guide cannot guarantee that every space is accessible.
Specific assistance
Before booking, ask the park’s Visitor Support Service about wheelchair loans, suitable routes or accredited parking if needed. Explain your particular requirements: simply requesting an easy route may not give staff enough information. Park staff can confirm current conditions and availability. Leave time to enjoy the places you can comfortably reach rather than attempting every stop.
